Many people who were injured and killed in the attack on The World Trade Center were from Nations worldwide. We
have put together the figures that are available to date, to give an indication of how this attack has affected people around
the globe. In all, reports say that at least 62 countries have reported citizens missing, although we count 70.
These figures will, of course, be inaccurate as time reveals the true cost of this tragedy, but are the present
estimates....

Antigua has 3 people missing. Argentina said four of its nationals were missing. Australia said three
of its nationals were confirmed dead. Another 69 who were in the vicinity of the World Trade Center at the time of the attacks
were unaccounted for. Austria said 40 of its nationals were missing. Bahamas reports 1 of it's
people missing. Bangladesh said at least 50 Bangladeshis were presumed killed in the carnage at the World Trade Center.
Barbados said 3 are either missing or dead. Belarus has upto 3 missing. Belgium said 60 of its
nationals present in New York at the time of the attack, including four workers in the World Trade Center, were still missing.
Belize has yet to account for 4 of it's citizens. Brazil said at least 55 of its nationals were missing.
Britain said nearly 100 of its citizens were confirmed dead. It is estimated that 1 in 10 of those missing could
be British Nationals. Cambodia said that some 20 of its nationals were missing. Canada said three
of its nationals were confirmed dead and between 50 and 100 were still missing. Chile said three of its nationals
were feared dead, although more than 250 have been reported missing by relatives. China said that three Chinese
nationals died and at least another 30 are missing. Colombia said 295 people were reported missing. Costa
Rica has 1 missing. Czech Republic has about 10 still missing. Denmark's foreign ministry said five
tourists were still unaccounted for. The Dominican Republic said one citizen was found dead and upto 24 were
missing. Ecuador listed two citizens as dead and 31 missing. Egypt said four Egyptians were feared
dead. El Salvador said one of its citizens died on one of the four hijacked planes and 100 others were missing.
Finland said its consulate in New York was trying to track down 17 nationals unaccounted for. France
said a small number( upto 10 ) of its nationals working in the World Trade Center were unaccounted for. A foreign ministry
spokesman said no French dead had yet been confirmed. Germany some 700 Germans were missing. Ghana
has one missing. Greece is still trying to contact 30 - 50 of it's people. Guatemala is still trying to
account for 6 people. Hong Kong said 19 people were missing. Honduras said one of its nationals was
killed at the Trade Center, but added that it had information that up to 500 Hondurans and Salvadorans worked in the towers.
India has 250 - 300 of it's nationals dead or missing. Indonesia said one of its citizens died on
one of the four hijacked planes and another of its citizens was missing. Iran has 5 nationals missing.
Ireland said four Irish citizens had been confirmed dead, more than 20 other Irish nationals were missing. Israel
said two of its nationals died on board the doomed flights and upto 130 others who worked in the World Trade Center were missing.
In addition six people who were near the World Trade Center when the attacks took place were unaccounted for. Italy
has 38 of it's citizens missing. Jamaica reports 7 missing. Japan said 22 of it's citizens are still missing.
Jordan has one of it's nationals unaccounted for. Kenya has 1 missing. Korea is reporting some
20 people missing. Lebanon has 5 missing. Netherlands has 3 confirmed dead, and several dozen missing.
New Zealand has about 120 still missing, but thankfully has accounted for over 900 as safe. Nigeria press
report 94 missing. Mexico had around 150 working in the twin towers, an unknown number are missing. New
Zealand has at least 140 missing. Panama reports 3 missing. Pakistan has around 200 missing. Paraguay
is missing one of it's nationals. Peru has 3 unaccounted for. Philippine says 7 of it's people are unaccounted
for. Poland has still to account for 30 of it's nationals. Portugal reports over 20 missing. Russia
said around 100 of it's nationals are missing. Slovakia has said it is still trying to trace 10 nationals.
South Africa says a least 6 people are thought to be missing. Sri Lanka has one national missing.
St Lucia has 1 missing. Sweden knows of a least one victim of the attack. Switzerland has between
250 and 300 of it's nationals missing. Taiwan says at least 7 are missing. Trinidad/Tobago have said
4 of their people are missing. United States reports are varying, but the latest figures put the number of dead and
missing at over 6,000. Ukraine is missing one of it's people. Venezuela have 3 citizens missing. Yemen
have said it is trying to find 8 citizens. Zimbabwe has 6 citizens still missing.
